Believe it or not, I'm still here and still casting!!! Stay tuned for a walk-through of the build-up of Hell Boy 2. I am working on a furnace for a friend that includes some upgrades over the original Hell Boy furnace.
This site is dedicated to hobby foundry work and the many processes, tools, techniques and information involved in the fascinating and rewarding art of home metal casting.
The motivation in making this information available is to remove as much of the mystery of melting and casting molten metal as possible and to encourage more enthusiasts to engage in their own metal casting adventures. Foundry work is a never-ending learning experience and I intend to share everything I have learned as I move forward in my metallic adventures. As I make new discoveries, I will document them right here for your entertainment.
Because this site is intended to be a "live document" platform, I welcome suggestions, questions, requests and comments on any and all material seen in these pages or related to this hobby.
